Over the past 20 years the remains of Battersea’s industrial waterfront have been swept away and the riverbank from Albert Bridge to Wandsworth Bridge has been transformed by apartment complexes, public walkways and restaurants and bars. With so many attractions on the doorstep, excellent transport links and one of the lowest rates of council tax in London, it’s no wonder that house hunters are turning their attention to Battersea.
