Career success stories - Chelsea Gregory-Brown

22nd September, 2023

Chelsea Gregory-Brown has worked at KFH for seven years now. Starting as a sales administrator in Streatham in 2016, she worked her way up and is now a lead field systems trainer at head office. In this article, she discusses her career so far and what she loves about working at KFH.

My path into property started in 2016 with KFH; my first role was as a sales administrator for the Streatham branch. I came in with no experience or knowledge of the industry, but with hard work and the help and support from colleagues, I soon found my feet. As Streatham is a high-volume branch I had to learn quickly but was lucky to be able to contribute to their success.

I kickstarted my training career when I began supporting the south west region, training new coordinators on their day-to-day responsibilities and systems. This became something I was very passionate about, as the role offered constant opportunities to connect with new people and share my industry insights.

In early 2022, the Field Systems Trainer role was created within the Talent Development team at head office, giving me the opportunity to take the next step in my career. Taking on this new position allowed me to demonstrate my capabilities and further develop my experience in training. I’ve gone from training in my local branch on only one system, to now training numerous systems for the company, and there’s more to come!

After around a year in that role, I earned a promotion to Lead Field Systems Trainer, and am now enjoying more exposure to the business, creating training plans myself, and leading the Field Systems Trainer role.

I've been fortunate to work alongside exceptional individuals and build valuable connections. KFH truly emphasises the importance of people in its business, and I can confidently say that my journey so far owes its success to the support and collaboration of these remarkable individuals.
