A property described as “London’s sexiest boutique hotel” is on sale as a private residence through the Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward Clerkenwell branch.

London’s sexiest boutique hotel

From the outside, this four bedroom, Grade II listed Georgian townhouse, is very discreet. The property, considered to be one of London’s oldest surviving terraces, was built in 1717 and has been the subject of an extensive programme of works carried out by the Spitalfields Historic Buildings Trust.

The owner, David Carter, is one of the world’s most celebrated interior designers. Carter has been described as a “master of illusion” – and a master he most certainly is! His designs have theatrical and playful elements, styles loved by his clientele which include Middle Eastern royalty and London billionaires.

Each room has a unique elegance with antique artwork and furniture sitting alongside unique ornaments and soft furnishings.

As well as being offered to guests as a boutique micro-hotel, the property has hosted countless celebrities and well-known personalities for photo-shoots, fashion events and product launches.

Chris Rowe, sales manager at KFH Clerkenwell, says, “This is an extraordinary property. Its history, coupled with its impressive restoration and design, means that it can legitimately claim to be one of the most fashionable addresses in London.”
