Affordability is most important factor as London tenant priorities change

The Land and New Homes team at London property services group Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward (KFH) has successfully sourced and consulted on the acquisition of land in Westmead Road, Sutton.

The Westmead Road development is a short distance from Sutton High Street, which boasts an array of amenities and new development projects. The scheme was granted planning consent for 35 units, which will provide 100% affordable housing for the borough of Sutton.

John East, Land and New Homes Director at KFH, said: “We are delighted to have completed both the land sale acquisition and disposal of Westmead Road. There is a lot of activity in the new homes sector and developers are committed to breaking ground on high quality affordable housing schemes at this time.”

KFH also acted as consultants for their clients in their acquisition and throughout the planning process. The transaction was led by Joe Badby, Residential Development and Investment Manager and was supported by John East.
