Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, one of the Capital’s largest independent estate agents with over 50 branches in London, has today launched its brand new website (www.kfh.co.uk) and iPhone app (London Property Search app by Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward).
With more than 90,000 users per week visiting the website and more than 25% of the web-traffic being mobile based, the new additions offer a host of new features designed to make the property search process easier. On the website, search functionality has been widened to sort via a range of different criteria including property features, tenure and age alongside the usual sort functions of price and bedrooms. Area search has also been improved to offer both a radius option which sorts via increments of a quarter mile from a location, or alternatively you can draw your own search parameters and the map will populate with properties falling within your set area.
To help people looking to move to a new part of London, area guides are also available for every location with a KFH office. Alongside all of the basic information required to make a decision on where in London to live such as the best schools, transport links and general property options, there are also insider secrets such as where to shop, socialise and enjoy the outdoors.
The iPhone app, which is a more concentrated version of the website, is perfectly optimised for viewing by mobile and allows users to search the entire sales and lettings database of properties, view photos and floorplans and also contact branches directly to arrange a viewing.
Paul Masters, Group Marketing and Operations Director, comments: “We saw 4.4million visitors access our website last year, and with a quarter of these accessing it from their mobiles and tablets, it has become important for us to offer a better experience to buyers and tenants. We typically have more than 3,500 properties available for sale or rent at any one time across more than 50 branches so it is imperative that our customers have the ability to tailor their searches to their exact specifications. These new additions allow them to do just that and more!”
