Risk & Controls Manager – Wimbledon
We take our compliance and high quality standards seriously, and so do you. Whether you’re already a business standards manager or you’re an experienced Mortgage and Protection case checker looking to deliver your experience at a higher level.

As the Risk and Controls Manager you’ll play a key part in maintaining and increasing those standards. Day to day you’ll use your knowledge and experience of mortgages and protection to conduct regular ‘check the checker’ assessments for your own team of Risk & Control Officers in addition to working closely with your team to coach and develop their knowledge across the broader range of compliance responsibilities.
You’re likely to be someone who enjoys breadth to their role as you’ll have plenty of other responsibilities as well such as; delivering regular audits at the request of the Technical Director, creating and supplying regular reports in line with FCA requirements and expectations, identifying changing regulation and assessing impact on the business and carrying out any investigations that need to take place.
You’ll also be a good communicator, keeping up to date with the workload demands of your team, conducting regular audit reviews with our lender partners and developing strong relationships with the Senior Management team and the consultant and operations teams.
