Accounts Administrator - Block Management - Wimbledon

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an entry level Accounts Administrator within our Block Management department. This is an entry level position, ideal for someone looking to develop a career in accounts.

The core responsibility of this role is to provide assistance to the accounts team, which in turn will help the wider department to provide a high level of service to all of our Clients.

Key responsibilities and tasks:

  • Assisting with the smooth running of the department by carrying out customer service duties; answering the main account telephone line and dealing with any queries
  • Assisting with all income cheques and banking
  • Replying to all internal and external emails in a timely manner
  • Assisting in the raising and reconciling of the Lessees late payment charges
  • Posting of unallocated cash
  • Posting of sundry supplier invoices
  • Posting of all Client supplier credit notes and requesting refunds when necessary
  • Processing all insurance memos and payments, including excess charges to lessee accounts
  • Reconciliation of the Company House fee account and other supplier accounts
  • Assisting the Account Manager(s) with the production of their year-end invoice files
  • Producing utility imports
  • Scanning of management fee and payroll invoices
  • Assisting with Purchase Ledger duties, such as payments and queries
  • Assisting with the Sales Ledger duties
  • Assisting with the Purchase Invoice register process
  • Assisting with credit and debit card receipts

  • IT literate – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Clear and concise communication skills – face to face, email, and by telephone
