What is RSS?

RSS is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines, and podcasts. An RSS document (which is called a "feed" or "web feed" or "channel") contains either a summary of content from an associated website or the full text. RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with websites in an automated manner that can be piped into special programs or filtered displays.

KFH Property RSS feeds

We've set up RSS on the KFH website so you can get the latest property details, matching your search criteria, as soon as they are published to the website, without having to visit the website.

How do I start using feeds?

The first thing you need is something called a news/RSS reader. This is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications.

Browser based news readers let you catch up with your RSS feed subscriptions from any computer, whereas downloadable applications let you store them on your main computer, in the same way that you either download your email using Outlook.

Once you have chosen a news/RSS reader, all you have to do to start receiving the latest properties is

  • Use the Property search (on the right of this page) to enter your search criteria
  • On the search results page you will notice an orange button (shown below) above and to the right of your results RSS iconRSS Icon
  • Either click on this button or cut and paste the URL into a new feed in your news reader
